These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made by you, the customer, from us, The Week Bookshop.

To place a new order or have any other queries call us on 020 3176 3835. Lines are open between 9am to 5.30pm from Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4:00pm on Sunday.
Alternatively you can email us on enquiries@bookshop.theweek.co.uk. We endeavour to respond to all communication within 2 working days.
ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we were unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out within the Terms and Conditions, such as age restrictions. We will send you the details of your order via email. You can find the terms here at all times. The details about your recent orders can be found in your customer login.
The Week Bookshop reserves the right to terminate or withdraw any order for whatever reason it sees fit, without explanation to the purchaser. We will notify you if we do not accept your order. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of withdrawing any products from sale whether or not that product has been sold.
Our acceptance of your order will only take place upon dispatch of the product(s) ordered. For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of an order does not constitute acceptance of an order.
AVAILABILITY
All orders are accepted subject to stock availability.
VALUE ADDED TAX
Books are not subject to VAT.
PAYMENT
We accept Maestro, MasterCard Debit, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Visa Delta, Visa, Solo and credit cards have to be registered to a UK address.
Customers must be 18 years of age or over. It is your responsibility to ensure that the details provided by you for the purpose of ordering products from us are correct and that you have the necessary credit limits and/or authority to use the credit or debit card you present to us.
DELIVERY
STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGES UK MAINLAND
Orders sent via our Standard Delivery Service should usually arrive within 5 days of your order being placed. We will use the most appropriate method of despatch depending on the weight and value of your order, this may include a courier service which would require a signature on delivery. A confirmation email will be sent upon your order being despatched and if the order has been sent via a courier, tracking information will be included enabling you to track the progress of your order online.
Postage may differ on certain items dependent upon location so please refer to your basket where the correct postage will applied based upon your order selections.
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS
DAMAGED GOODS
If you are cancelling because there is a fault with the product, clearly state the details of the fault. We will meet the cost of returning the product or products to us if the goods are faulty or incorrect. For all other cancellations, you must return the goods to us at your cost.
STATUTORY RIGHTS
If you ordered via telephone or internet you have the right under distance selling regulations to cancel your order and receive a refund for home delivered items under our 14-day money back guarantee.
LIABILITY
If you have notified us of a problem with the goods, we will either make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery, or refund you with the amount paid for the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor is it intended to limit our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS
We will endeavour to acknowledge and respond to any complaints within 2 working days. Should a complaint take any longer than this customers will be notified.
In the event that we are unable to resolve a dispute with you, you can make a complaint via the ODR platform which can be located here:http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. The ODR can then submit the dispute to an ADR. We are obliged to inform you that we do not recognise any ADR's.

The Week Bookshop is a division of The Week Ltd. The Week Ltd is registered as a data user under the above Act. View the privacy policy.

WEBSITE TERMS OF USE
By purchasing products from us, you agree to these terms of sale. The Week Bookshop has the right to revise these terms and conditions including prices at any time. We also have the right to decline service to any individual customer.
Please note that by using this website or our mobile applications (for example our iPhone and iPad apps) (a “Site”), you accept these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use this Site. We may change these Terms from time to time, so you should review them each time that you visit the Site. You should print a copy of these Terms for future reference.
